Clyde Otis Burr

Clyde Otis Burr, age 81, of a Marietta, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm (Central Time) on Saturday, September 19th at Good Hope Cemetery, 7508 River Road, Dora, Alabama 35062.
Clyde was born in Blossburg, Alabama and grew up in Warrior, Al before moving to Marietta, Ga where he lived for 50 years. He served in the Army Reserve in Alabama as a young man. Clyde was an avid NASCAR fan, and actually test drove cars for one of the elite drivers, he enjoyed all sports.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Markey and Gladys Burr, And his brother, Charles Burr.
He is survived by his brother, Cecil Burr of Warrior, Al; His loving wife of 62 years, Peggy Burr; Daughters, Cindy Addington (Terry)and Ginger Ferguson (Chuck); his beloved grandchildren, Ashley Dooley, Taylor Burr (Megan), Brandon Blevins, Lea Alvarez (Mike), Callie Addington; Great grandchildren Aubree Dooley, Oliver Dooley, Eli Burr. Clyde and Peggy raised and loved another young lady as their own daughter, and is a beloved sister to Cindy and Ginger, Teresa Brown Martens (Joel) and her sons, Trent Harris (Diana) , Tanner Harris and her Grandson Kai Harris. Clyde loved his family with every fiber of his being and oh how they loved him.
