Clifford Leroy Clanton

Clifford Leroy Clanton, age 80, of Marietta, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Funeral Services will be held 11am on Friday, February 15, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Larry Ritch officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, GA.
Mr. Clanton lived most of his life in Cobb County and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Industrial Lift Truck Service in Atlanta after 39 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Clanton of Marietta; children, Pam Watson and husband, Greg of Raleigh, N.C., Joy McDonald and husband, David of Marietta, Jan Cooper and husband, Keith of Powder Springs and Eric Clanton of White; Grandchildren, Paul Willis and wife, Renee’, Brittany Cone and husband, Blake, Vanden Clanton and Lisa, Noel Maynard and husband, Michael, Carmen Killen and husband, Justin and Kyle Cooper.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 14, 2013, 5pm-8pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
