Claudia Chandler

Mrs. Claudia M. Chandler was born on May 20th, 1945 in Bay Minette, Alabama, as the second eldest of nine children born to the late Claude Ivory and Cora Lee. She departed this life on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Chandler, her parents, her brothers, Michael Ivory, Joe L. Ivory, Lil Joe Ivory, and her sisters, Priscilla Foreman, Annie M. Jarette, Mary L. Riascos, and Sharron Blanding.

She worked for more than 30 years at NY Bellsouth.

Mrs. Claudia Chandler is survived by her children: Dale Solomon (Anthony) of GA., James Armstead (Laura) of GA, Terence Armstead of GA, Charles E. Chandler (Carmen) of NC, Chad A. Chandler of GA; Sisters: Donna M. Hewlett of NY and Sharon Ivory of NY; Grandchildren: Ryan, Justyna, Zachary, Terence Jr., Brycen, Teeva, Tyenne, Pierce and Avrie, along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 5pm on Saturday, June 10th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. A repass will immediately follow the ceremony at the funeral home. The Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
