Clarence B. "Skip" Ecklund

Clarence B. "Skip" Ecklund, age 72, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with military honors.

A native of Calumet City, Illinois, Mr. Ecklund moved to Dallas, GA 24 years ago from Mableton, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, he served in the Air Force Reserves for over 20 years. He worked for several companies during his career, including United Steel, Comcast, in construction, and most recently with Lowes. He had attended Unity Baptist Church in Dallas.

Survivors include: Wife of 27 years, Vicki L. Ecklund; 2 Step Children, Wendy (Matthew) Hummer, Villa Rica, GA, and Wesley (Amber) Dunn, Billings, MT; Sister, Leslie (Jack) Hale, Buckeye, AZ; 5 Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Skip Ecklund's memory to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
