Christine S. Carter, age 97, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, June 22, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Chris Humphries officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, GA.
Born in Dallas, GA, Mrs. Carter lived in Powder Springs for most of her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Austell, and she also enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling.

Son: Michael (Melissa) Carter, Powder Springs, GA
2 Grandchildren: Michele Casteel and Christopher Carter
4 Great Grandchildren: Aurora Casteel, Tristan Casteel, Piper Casteel and Remington Casteel
