Cheryl Ann Walters

Cheryl Ann (Svec) Walters, age 66, of Marietta, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, GA. Cheryl was a native of Ohio and moved to Marietta in 1989. She is of the Catholic Faith. She was employed as a Manager in the Research Development Finance and Administrative Dept at Solvay/Abbott Pharmaceuticals for 34 years before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her mother Erma Ryan Svec and her father George Svec (a decorated WWII Veteran). Survivors include: her husband of 47 years, John Walters (a Marine Corps Veteran) of Marietta, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Tiffany and Eric Donnelly of Powder Springs, GA; one grandson: Callihan Donnelly of Powder Springs, GA; two sisters: Judy Rodgers of Westerville, OH, Susan Wilson of New Albany, OH and a brother-in-law: Tom Walters of Sunberry, OH. and several nieces and nephews.
