Charles H. "Charlie" Ward

Charles Harrison "Charlie" Ward, age 93, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Born in Menlo, GA, Mr. Ward had lived most of his life in Cobb County. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He worked as a Maintenance Manager for Sears, retiring after 30 years of employment. Afterwards, Mr. Ward worked for Thornton Chevrolet for another 20 years. He could fix anything, and he had a heart for helping people. He also loved gardening, crafts, and woodworking. 

Survivors include: 3 Children, Pam (Michael) Craft, Marietta, GA, Michael Charles Ward, and Randy Eugene (Laura) Ward; Grandchildren, Chad (Cassandra) Sims, Melanie King, Carrie Craft, Derek Ward, Harrison Ward, Stanton Ward, Georgia (Ward) McBride, Nelson Ward, Bethany (Ward) Franklin, Maggie (Ward) Williams; 18 Great Grandchildren.
