Charles E. Turner

Charles Edward Turner, age 76, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021. Private Funeral Services will be held with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating but can be viewed on this page at 11:00am Friday, March 26, 2021. Entombment will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Born in Savannah, GA, Mr. Turner attended McEachern from 1st through 12th grade. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and worked for Weaver Brake and Tire, retiring after 38 years of employment. He was formerly a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and a current member of Macland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Clara Turner.

Survivors include: Wife of 42 years, Sandra Turner; 4 Children, Scott Turner, Douglasville, GA, Marcia Turner Arnott, Powder Springs, GA, Benjamin Turner, Marietta, GA and J. Jones, Marietta, GA; 2 Sisters, Deborah Anderson, Marietta, GA and Karen Casey, Cleveland, GA; 10 Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles Turner's memory to the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
