Charles Arnold Stookey, age 79, of Acworth, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native of Indiana, Mr. Stookey moved to Georgia 45 years ago from New York. He owned and operated Reliable Hydraulics for 40 years, and served as a Deacon and an Elder at Northside Christian Church.
Survivors include:
3 Children: Terry (Pam) Stookey, Acworth, GA, Tim (Renee) Stookey, Acworth, GA and Tamara (Jack) Campbell, Woodstock, GA
Grandchildren: Christopher Stookey, Emily (Alex) Heckler, Brittany (Robby) Espinosa, Erica (Ben) Pitts, Devon Stookey, Elaina Campbell
Great Grandchildren: Roberto and Leo Espinosa
Sister: Arlene (Jim) Kincaid
Sister-in-law: Janet Stookey
