Charles "Bud" Rimert

Charles "Bud" Rimert, age 66, of Marietta, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 7, 2022 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30062. Interment will follow at St. Ann's in the church columbarium. Reception following.
Bud was born in Fulton, NY but had resided in Marietta for the past 34 years. He was a retired self-employed electrician. He cherished and enjoyed spending time with his wife and sons, enjoyed cooking, loved the outdoors and working in his garden, and fantasy football.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert "Bud" Rimert, and survived by his wife Sherry Sefers Rimert, sons, Justin, Michael, and Chandler all of Marietta, mother Carolyn Rimert of Gordonsville, VA, brother Mark Rimert of Atlanta, and sister Shelly (Randy) Preddy also of Gordonsville, VA. Numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended loving family.
