Charles Clyde Longenecker III

Charles Clyde Longenecker, age 63, of Marietta, Georgia passed away December 23, 2021. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. He was preceded in death by his son Jacob Michael Longenecker.

Clyde was born in Mt. Lebanon, PA living in Georgia most of his life and in Marietta, GA since the 1980's. He was a musician, singer and song writer, he loved music, football, baseball, golf, poker, board and card games of all varieties. Loved spending time with his wife, family and friends. He never meet a stranger and was always the life of the party.

Survivors include: wife of 37 years: Joyce Longenecker of Marietta, GA whom he met when they were only 15 years old; mother: Shirley and step-father Ron Ladd of Marietta, GA; Rick Longenecker of Marietta, GA; Kathy and Peter Mateer of Toronto, Canada and Shari and John Duzenski of Canton, GA; Melissa and Wayne Friedman of St Augustine, FL; Tracy and Martin Birkbeck of Dallas, TX; Laurence and Maureen Michael of CT and several nieces and nephews along with Katie and Mr. Jiggs.
