Charles W. Fleming

Charles Walter Fleming, age 94, of Jasper, Georgia passed away October 7, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA with Rev. Leonard Chambers and Jason Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Pauline Fleming and daughter Joan Favors.

Mr. Fleming was a native of Atlanta, GA, had lived in the Cobb and Paulding County areas for many years before moving to Jasper Georgia. He was a graduate of O'Keefe High School in Atlanta, GA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during WWII. He was a retired assembler from Lockheed and was a Mason.

Survivors include: wife: Jaynell Fleming of Jasper, GA; two son: Steve (Kay) Fleming of Mableton, GA and Jimmy (Robyne) Fleming of Jasper, GA; five grandchildren: Chris Fleming, Jason (Kim) Fleming, Jennifer (Mike) Welborn, Jessica Fleming and Kristy Stewart; seven great-grandchildren: Madeline, Sarah, Charlie, Sophie, Abbie, Scott and Christian; three sisters: Doris Alexander of Cedarhurst, GA, Jacqueline Roach of Powder Springs, GA and Helen Mullins of DeLand, FL.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
