Charles Lindy Cason

Charles Lindy Cason, age 86 of Dallas, GA, passed away on June 7, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Interment will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta.



Mr. Cason was born on March 23, 1929 in Tallapoosa, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ezra & Ruby Cason and sisters: Dolores Grimes & Charlene Smith, and is survived by his loving wife of 62 wonderful years, Betty Robinson Cason; son, Charles M. (Terri) Cason; daughter, Carol (Butch) Wagner; grandchildren: Matthew Cason, Allyson Wagner, David Wagner and Cason Wagner. Lindy retired from the United States Postal Service after 33 years of employment. He served 4 years in the United States Navy and was a member of Macland Baptist Church and a member of the Adult V Sunday School class.



Lindy was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He and his wife, Betty, were as much in love from the day they married until his passing. He never thought of himself. He could always be depended upon by family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
