Charles Dennis "Chuck" Bloodworth, Jr.

Charles Dennis "Chuck" Bloodworth, Jr., age 60, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory. 

A native of Douglasville, GA, Chuck had moved to Dallas, GA 14 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served for four years. He graduated from West Georgia College with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Chuck was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service with 24 years of dedicated service to protecting and serving under former Presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump.

His other interests included coaching baseball and football at Douglas County High School and teaching Criminal Justice there. During his career he worked in law enforcement for MARTA and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. He was also currently working as a C.I.S.O. with 1 Path. He loved playing golf, was a avid Alabama football fan, and was a member of Cedarcrest Church in Acworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Dennis Bloodworth, Sr. and Patricia Malone, and a brother, Kevin Bloodworth.

Survivors include: Wife of 32 years, Karen Weaver Bloodworth; Two Daughters, Ashlan Bloodworth (Corbin) Lawver, Houston, TX, and Avery Bloodworth, Dallas, GA; Sister, Julie (Max) McCoy, Watkinsville, GA; Brother, Scott (Brandi) Bloodworth, Atlanta, GA; Brother-in-Law, Keith (Clarice) Weaver, Dallas, GA; Father-in-Law, Ken Weaver, Dallas, GA, and several Nieces and Nephews.
