Charles Edward Beck

Charles Edward Beck, Sr., age 81, of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Jackie Sanders officiating. His cremains will be interred at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton on Thursday, January 10th.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Mr. Beck lived in Cobb County for most of his life before moving to Dallas 5 years ago. He retired from Lockheed after 30 years of employment. He also worked for Enterprise Car Rental and Sears, and was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served during the Korean War and received the Purple Heart. He was a Shriner, and was a member of the American Legion in Dallas and of Fellowship Christian Center in Smyrna.
