Chanell A. Mays, age 62, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia with Dr. G.J. Johnson officiating.
She accepted Christ at an early age in her life, and was an active member of Hartzell Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Slidell, LA. She was a loving wife and caring mother. She had a passionate heart for many. A native of Slidell, LA, Mrs. Mays moved to Marietta, GA in 1986. She graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Survivors include: Husband of 33 years, William S. "Bill" Mays, Jr.; Son, Jonathan Mays, Marietta, GA; Brother, Donald Y. (Suzette) Archie, Slidell, LA; Sister, Iris (Andrew) Turner, Rochester, NY; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
