Chandanben moved to London in 1966 to marry her late husband of 41 years, Ramanlal Khushalbhai Patel. They moved to the United States in 1978.
She struggled with her health for 2 decades; however, few realized how difficult it was for her. She always had a smile on her face and made everyone feel welcome. Her warmth, strength, and generous spirit were her superpowers.
Despite the struggles she and our father faced, they always put their children and others first. She left India at a young age but she had an intrepid spirit and loved to travel, cook and entertain.
Spirituality was also very important to her and despite her health challenges, she went places that few have been or will be able to. She traveled to 5 of the 7 continents and most of her birth country India.
She is survived by her 2 children ( Trupti and Manesh), a nephew she helped raise ( Hiren), daughter in law (Purvi) and 2 grandchildren (Thrushil and Trishna), who were the light of her life.
Her kindness, wisdom and inner strength impacted everyone around her and will be remembered in the difficult days ahead.
