Cecil Cook

Cecil Wayne Cook, age 85, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 30, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.

A native of Cobb County, Mr. Cook lived in Fannin County for a number of years before moving back to Paulding County. He retired as a salesman after employment with APEX Supply and Sears Incorporated. He also loved working in the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Cook; daughter, Dianne Watford; grandson, Cody Watford; and brothers, Edward Cook, James Cook, Charles Cook and J.C. Cook.

Survivors include: Wife, Frances Turner; Son, David (Laura) Cook, Dallas, GA; 2 Daughters, Alicia Ronald, Dallas, GA and Sandra Hooker, Calhoun, GA; Brother, Harold (Joan) Cook, Powder Springs, GA; Sister, Ruth (Tommy) Walker, Rockmart, GA; Grandchildren, Melissa, April, Lisa, Zach, Robert, Matthew, Trew, Stephanie and Tonie; Step Daughter, Tracy Young; Stepson, Tim Tatum; and many Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
