Cathy J. “Kitty” Watson, age 70, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013. No services are planned at this time.
Born in Chamblee, GA, Mrs. Watson was a long-time resident of Cobb County. She retired from Retail Credit (Equifax) where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents, Eusten Lee and Ema Lou White and a son, Lane Shannon Watson.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald “R.L.” Watson; children, Sport (Darlene) Watson of Dallas, Shaun (Leann) Watson of Smyrna and Cat Watson of Marietta; sister Gail (Johnny) Reed of Marietta; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to WellStar Community Hospice at Tranquility, 4040 Hospital South Drive, Austell, GA 30106.
