Carrol Lynn Davis Cassell, age 67, of Ellijay, Georgia passed away August 31, 2018. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. She was preceded in death by her husband John Martin Cassell and her parents Winfred Lee and Billie Ann Davis.
Lynn was a native of Nashville, TN and lived most of her life in Marietta, GA, where she graduated from Sprayberry High School, before moving to Ellijay, GA 8 years ago. She was of the Baptist faith. She was the Director of Operations for Mansermar Inc and Mid-America Apartment Management Co. Inc.
Survivors include: brother: Kenneth (DeAnne) Davis of Nashville, TN; sister: Libby (Greg) Gallups of Marietta, GA; step-daughters: Jacki (Mitch) Blumenthal, Lisa Cassell and Tracey Cash; step-son: Michael Cassell; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
