Carolyn Norton

Carolyn S. Norton, age 81, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. Burial will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Park in Powder Springs, GA.

Carolyn was a native of Austell, GA living in Cobb County, GA the majority of her life. She was member of Calvary Baptist Church in Austell. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends and supporting her four grandchildren in all their activities.

Survivors include: son, Jon Nix and wife Lisa Nix, with granddaughter Taylor Nix of Powder Springs, GA and grandson Jacob Nix and wife Jess Nix of Chattanooga, TN; son, Greg Nix and fiancee' Kay Hutchins of Douglasville, GA; granddaughters Ella Nix and Emma Nix of Carrollton, GA; sister, Peggy Shivers and husband Derrill Shivers of Snellville, GA, and several loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
