Carolyn Clonts Edwards, age 83, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, September 17th at the Powder Springs First United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Vest officiating. Burial will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Park. She will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the ceremony.
Born in Hiram, GA, Mrs. Edwards lived in Powder Springs for most of her life. She retired from the Cobb County School System after 24 years of employment at Powder Springs Elementary, McEachern High School and the County Office. She was a longtime member of Powder Springs First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
