Carolyn Anne Sellars Carter

Carolyn Anne Sellars Carter, age 78, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away June 3, 2021. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 18, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents James Benjamin Sellars and Annette Killingsworth Sellars.

Carolyn was a native of Sebring, FL and a lifelong resident of Smyrna, GA. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vinings. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: husband of 54 years: Edd Rush Carter of Smyrna, GA; four children: April Smith Hite of Smyrna, GA, Victoria Michelle Smith of Gainesville, FL, James Rush Carter of Smyrna, GA and Cynthia Carter-Johnson of Orange Lake, FL; four sisters: Peggy Sellars Henson of Powder Springs, GA, Barbara Sellars (Donny) Daugherty of Delta, AL, Marilyn Sellars (Dennis) Tupper of Gainesville, GA and Linda Sellars Hulsey of Villa Rica, GA; six grandchildren: Nick Fitton, Geoff Fitton, Stephen Hite, Andrew Hite, Javonte Johnson and Jaden Carter; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
