Carolyn Newsome Beck

Carolyn Newsome Beck (Gallimore), 70, of Dallas, GA passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at home with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband, Charles "Scooter" Beck; brother, Michael Gallimore; daughter, Lorin Voigt (Newsome); son, Nathan Newsome; step-daughters, Mallori Luna (Beck) and Lindsay Beck; nephew, Michael New; niece, Haley Beck; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Ann Gallimore; sister, Deborah "Debbie" Beck (Gallimore); and nephew, Taylor Beck.

Carolyn loved, hugged, laughed, danced, cooked, protected, taught, and worked with her whole passionate heart. That same heart was full from her love of her family, friends, coworkers, pets, and music.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. Inurnment will occur on Friday, 3/4/22 at 12:30 PM (arrive 12:00 PM) at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
