Carol A. Kelley

Carol A. Kelley, age 79, of Marietta, Georgia passed away April 11, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. Interment will held 11:00 am, Monday, April 15, 2024 at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Kelley in 2003, her daughter Tonya "Tina" Whittle in 2006 and great granddaughter Elise Kelley in 2016.

Carol was a native of Norfolk, VA and grew up in Crossville, TN then living in Alabama and Georgia for over 50 years. She was employed as a Medical Technologist in the Cobb/Douglas area for over 40 years and was the hardest working woman her family knew.  Carol loved horses, crocheting, canning and was an avid reader. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by four children: Dawn (Roy) Lingner of Dawsonville, GA, Shane (Jill) Kelley of Marietta, GA, Shawn (Jackie) Kelley of Temple, GA and step daughter Sharee (Howard) Martin of LaGrange, GA; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
