Candice Nathalie Nicolaou

Candice Nathalie Nicolaou, 52, from Hiram, Georgia, passed peacefully on January 22, surrounded by family. A beloved Wife, Daughter and Sister, "Nathalie" will always be remembered by her huge smile and even bigger heart for people and animals.

Nathalie was born in Pretoria, South Africa on September 23rd, 1972. She is the eldest child to Ronel Meyer and Johan Diedericks, a big sister to her brother Rudolf Diedericks and sister Roelien Viljoen.

Harry and Nathalie were married in May 1997, and had twenty seven (27) wonderful and adventurous years together.

A hairdresser by trade for many years, before becoming a manageress at various jewelry stores. Eventually moving to the USA in 2002, with Harry.

Resided in Gadsden, Alabama from 2002 until 2016 before moving to Hiram, Georgia. While in the USA, Nathalie worked for Belk Department Stores both in Alabama and Georgia.

Nathalie was a devoted Vegetarian from a very young age, which was born out of her love for animals. There were always pets in her home and looked after many strays too.

Nathalie is survived by her husband Harry Nicolaou.

A visitation will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home on Monday, January 27th at 1pm followed by a ceremony at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Cancer Research or an Animal Sanctuary.
