Buron Croft

Buron Croft, age 91, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Perry Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.

A native of Crossville, AL, Mr. Croft moved to Cobb County in 1953. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He owned and operated Croft Radio and TV in Smyrna, then worked for Delta Airlines, retiring after 26 years of employment. He was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Welcome All Baptist Church and Kennesaw First Baptist Church, and was an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Ann Croft, in 2014.

Survivors include: 4 Children, Rick Croft, Fernandina Beach, FL, Stan (Sherry) Croft, Marietta, GA, Tim (Debbie) Croft, Douglasville, GA and Mark (Lee) Croft, Cartersville, GA; 6 Grandchildren, Johnny, Scotty, Tabitha, Cody, Ashley and Chase; 8 Great Grandchildren, Brenna, Bowie, Jovi, Jagger, Michael, Aden, Brantley, and Joplin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Buron Croft's memory to Kennesaw First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
