Buford Harold Evans, Sr., age 86, of Marietta, GA passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta. Mr. Evans was retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp and Air Force and was a member of Kennesaw Lodge #33. Mr. Evans was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church and was a former choir member. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Chandler. He is survived by his children, Buford Harold Evans Jr., and Karen Evans; Sister, Arlene Keeling; Brothers, M.C. Evans and Nathan Evans; 2 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
