Bryan L. Turbeville, age 72, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013. Memorial Services will be held at 4pm on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Willingham, Rev. Charlie Marus and Tanya Ghoreishi officiating.
A native of Atlanta, Mr. Turbeville had lived in Powder Springs for the last 46 years. He retired from Western Union after 25 years of employment. He was an active member of McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church where he sang tenor in the choir, and he enjoyed woodworking and adored his wife, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Wife of 53 years: Linda Turbeville
Son: Alan (Jennifer) Turbeville, Cumming, GA
Daughter: Susan (Shawn) Hollenkamp, Powder Springs, GA
Sister: Harriet (Steve) Banks, Hiram, GA
4 Grandchildren: Jenna and Loren Hollenkamp, and Anna Grace and Drew Turbeville
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McEachern U.M.C. Music Ministry.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2pm until 4pm at the church.
