ETC Bruce Parmly Paret, age 77, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away May 9, 2018. Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
Bruce was a native of New Jersey and has lived in the Atlanta area since 1981. He loved model trains, camping, coaching softball, reading and spending time with his family. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, retiring after 23 years of service.
Survivors include: wife of 51 years: Edna Paret of Smyrna, GA; son: Robert Paret of Marietta, GA; daughter: Deborah (Greg) Osborne of Urbandale, Iowa; four granddaughters; three great-granddaughers and two great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
