Bonnie Mercedes Ray

Bonnie Mercedes Ray, age 80, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away June 21, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 25, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. in Marietta with Stacy Flanders officiating. Family Eulogies by Jon Loewer and Darrin Heatherly. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Mrs. Ray lived in Powder Springs since 1968 and was a former teacher at Compton Elementary, and Tapp and Smitha Middle Schools. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ray in 1999; granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Ray; sister, Patsy Ward and her brother, Randy Keplinger.

She is survived by her children, Gary Ray of Powder Springs, GA., Steve and Pamela Ray of Dallas, GA., and Teresa and Jon Loewer of Powder Springs, GA.; sister and brother in law, Senah and Gary Smith of Rome, GA.; grandchildren, James Snipes, Megan Snipes, Adam Loewer, Stephanie Ray Shedd, Kelsie Ray, Jason Ray, Caitlin Ray, John Ray and Wiley Ray; great grandchildren, Abbigale Shedd, Dillan Shedd, Collin Shedd, Ashton Howard, Railey Stegall, Kaden Stegall, Jacqueline Sorrow, Cameron Sorrow, Evan Sorrow, Scarlett Snipes, Nancy Snipes and Drew Kruszynski.
