Bobby Sanders Jones

Bobby Sanders Jones, age 90, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Friday, February 23, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Monday, February 26th at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. Lamar Rackley and Rev. Justin Hayles officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the ceremony on Monday.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Jones retired from GMC before working as a school bus driver for the Cobb County School System for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. He was also a Shriner, and enjoyed playing golf and fishing. He is preceded in death by his son, William (Billy) Jones.

Angela and Ray Bowling, Powder Springs, GA
Sister: Dot Lawson, Collingsworth, TX
Grandchildren: Christopher Jones, Wesley Jones, Josh Jones, Tabitha Orlando, Mike Jones Jr., Hunter Bowling and Danielle Bowling
Numerous Great Grandchildren
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4pm until 7pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
