Jeanelle Petty Pfab, 88, of Marietta, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. Born in Atlanta on August 1, 1930, she graduated from South Fulton High School. She married Donald B. Pfab in 1951 and they moved to Marietta in 1960 where they raised their five children and were members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for 20 years.
Jeanelle was a loving mother whose life focused on her husband and children. She became very knowledgeable and successful at buying, restoring and selling antique furniture. It was her passion. Jeanelle loved life, smiled often and had a funny sense of humor. She was always up for a new adventure and traveled in her older years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B Pfab, her son Hans Joseph Pfab and her brothers, Arlee Petty and Jack Petty. She is survived by her brother Monk Petty, and children, Donna Pfab Smith (Hap), Chuck Pfab (Candace), Ginger Pfab Paquin (Dana), Fritz Pfab (Rose), 8 Grandchildren, Whit Smith (Emilee), Natalie Smith Sams (Gus), Erin Smith Stuntz (DJ), Christopher Pfab (Lauren), April Pfab, Franz Pfab (Liz), Tori Paquin, Anna Paquin Bennett (Lyosha), and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Jeanelle lived at Greenwood Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in Marietta and we would like to thank the staff and caregivers there for the wonderful care that she received.
A memorial service will be held Sunday July 21 at First Baptist Church in Marietta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobbie Pfab's memory to Greateful First at First Baptist Church of Marietta.
