Billy Ruff Kennedy

Billy Ruff Kennedy, age 84, of Marietta, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 28, 2014 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating.
Interment with full military honors will be at Riverview Memorial Park in Smyrna.
Mr. Kennedy is retired after 20 years from United States Air Force and having served in the Korean Conflict. He attended Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Dallas, a graduate of West Fulton High School, a member of the American Legion Post 16 in Smyrna and the Owls Club. He worked at Muncie Power Products for 17 years before retiring.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife, Ivy M. Kennedy and children: Liese (Glenn) Morris of Albuquerque NM, Susan (Bubba) Vaughan of Dallas and Elaine (Jim) Speer of Temple; 6 grandchildren: Jacob and Liz Morris, Tim Vaughan, Lorrie and Mark Jeffries, Jennifer and Brad Williams, Stephen and Jessica Speer and Jason and Melanie Speer and 12 great-grandchildren.
