Billy Jack Canup Sr. 78, of Mableton, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015. Services will be 11am Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park. Mr. Canup was retired from the City of Atlanta as a police officer and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved spending time with his wife of 61 years and family and enjoyed crossword puzzles, recording old movies, deep sea fishing and was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Falcons fan. He is survived by his Wife, Shirley Canup of Mableton; Children, Karey Groover of Mableton, Billy Jack Canup Jr. of Mableton and Cindy O’Neill of Utah; 6 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
