Billy Donald Black, age 74, of Marietta passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Hollydale United Methodist Church, 2364 Powder Springs Road, Marietta with Reverend Leonard Akers and Reverend David Wilson officiating.
Mr. Black lived in the Atlanta area all of his life. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 2002 and was a former member of the Acworth Jaycees. He was an active member of Hollydale United Methodist Church.
Mr. Black is preceded in death by his parents: John and Carrie Black and 2 brothers: Bobby and Harold Black. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Black of Marietta; 2 children: Chris (Sherri) Stinecipher of Charlotte, NC and James Stinecipher (Elan Harrison) of Charlotte, NC; sisters: Barbara (Jim) Britt of Dallas, GA and Hellen Black of Cedartown, GA; sister-in-law, Doris Black of Hampton, GA; 5 grandchildren: Brannon, Jason, Jordan, Alex and Hayden Stinecipher and great-grandchild, Kaitlyn Moore and former daughter-in-law, Paula Digby.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064.
