Beverly Barnes Valle passed away on May 25 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 21, 1951 in Port Clinton, Ohio to Dale and Mary Barnes. Her family moved to her mother's hometown of Miami, Florida when she was three. She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband Frederick William (Bill) Valle.
She is survived by her son William (Chelsea Benjamin), daughter Amanda (Jason Mohring), grandson Thomas, brothers Boone (Cookie), Bruce (Rhonda), sisters Barbara Barnes and Bette Garrod (Geoff), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Beverly graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School where she met the love of her life, Bill Valle. She and Bill were married in 1984 and spent their married life in Decatur and Roswell, Georgia. Their daughter Amanda Elizabeth was born in 1984 and son William Frederick Valle, Jr. was born in 1988.
She began her professional career at Florida Power and Light and, after moving to Georgia, worked at Lucent Technologies and Avaya. Following her retirement, she worked part-time at Chico's as a sales lead.
Beverly was a fun-loving and gregarious wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She loved traveling and she especially loved Italy. She was a Girl Scout leader and was a second mom to the girls in her troop.
A celebration of life will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, Georgia, on Tuesday, June 4 with visitation at 10:00 AM and the service at 11:00 AM followed by a reception for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
