Betty G. Rabun

Betty Gunnels Rabun, age 80, of Powder Springs, GA passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, July 22nd at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Griffin, GA, Mrs. Rabun lived most of her life in Cobb County. She graduated from Campbell High School, and retired from the State of Georgia with the Department of Juvenile Justice after over 20 years of employment. She was a member of Macland Baptist Church, and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, watching the University of Georgia football and supporting her granddaughter while playing softball. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Rabun, and a son, Mike Rabun.

3 Grandchildren: Kevin Rabun, Paige Steed and Avery Eidson
