Betty Louise Mobley, age 84, from Marietta, GA went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 28, 2023. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 6, 1938. Betty was affectionately known for her love of gardening, her family and caring for others. She had a gentle, yet strong spirit and never wavered in her convictions, generosity, guidance, work ethic or love for her family. Before retiring, she was a Licensed Practitioner Nurse and worked with elderly patients. She had a deep understanding of the needs of others. Her empathy and love for others always played out in the way she cared for her patients. She passionately sought to make all people feel special, seen and loved.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, John David Hanie, Sr., and Bessie Louise Hanie; son, William Gordan Bryant; daughter, Kathy Faye Bodley; brothers, Joseph Campbell and James Campbell; and grandson, August Dielens, IV.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband Franklin Mobley; brothers, Albert “Butch” Hanie and David John Hanie; sister, Alma Blanche Mobley; daughters: Wanda Sue Jones, Rhonda Lynn Nelson, Tabitha Elizabeth Relota, and Laura Lee Williamson; sons, Kenneth Wade Bryant and Todd Daniel Mobley; Grandchildren: Devin Bodley, Jr., Jesse Bodley, Timothy Bodley, Christina Vaughn, Patricia Nelson, Greta Gantt, Trista Gantt, Jared Bryant, Christopher Bryant, Carl Bryant, Thomas Bryant, Nicholas Bryant, Nico Harold, Brian Mobley, Kyle Mobley, Emily Vanaman, Taylor Screws, Garrett Screws, Sawyer Williamson, and Shelby Williamson; and great-grandchildren: Benjamin Subasic, Cheyanne Gantt, Britleigh Vaughn, Aiden Nelson, Skylynd Nelson, and Vanessa Bryant.
