Betty Jean "MeMaw" Lindsay, age 85, of Dallas, Georgia passed away May 20, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA with Dr. Randy Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Lindsay and son Phillip Dale Lindsay.
Mrs. Lindsay was a native of Alabama living most of her life in Marietta, GA. She was a member of Olive Springs Baptist Church. She was a seamstress, loved flowers, gardening and especially spending time with her loving family.
Survivors include: son: Kenneth (Wanda) Lindsay of Dallas, GA; granddaughter: Brennan (Ashley) Brewer-Couch of Woodstock, GA; grandson: Phillip Cole (Bethany) Lindsay of Gainsville, GA; brother: Jim Collins and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
