Betty Louise Butler

Betty Louise Butler, age 86, of Mableton, GA passed away Friday, September 14, 2018. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2pm at Floyd Road Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Collins officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 1pm-2pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Park in Mableton. Louise was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church where she was their longest living member and she was an active member of the Choir. She was a homemaker and also delivered The Atlanta Journal and Constitution for over 9 years in the late 70s and early 80s.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Charles Butler Sr. She is survived by her children: Donna Sweat of Temple, GA., Chuck Butler of Temple, GA., Dawn (Roger) Neal of Aragon, GA., Dana (Todd) Morton of Temple, GA., and Deedra (Darryl) Kerlin of Hiram, GA.; Siblings, Lois (Gene) Hice, Doug (Linda) Richard, Danny (Teresa) Richard, and Kenneth (Beverly) Richard; Grandchildren, Robert , Amanda, Michael (Samantha), Timothy (Michelle), Garrett, Jeffrey (Sarah), Jacob (Briana), and Destiny; and 12 Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 4pm-7pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Youth Fund at Floyd Road Baptist Church, 3996 Floyd Road, Austell, GA 30106.
