Benny Jack Hughes

Benny Jack Hughes, age 80, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Lee Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Powder Springs, GA.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Mr. Hughes lived in Georgia for most of his life. He retired after many years of employment from Sears as a Receiving Manager at the Ponce de Leon and Jefferson Street locations, and also worked at Grand Slam USA. He was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edwina Robbie Hughes.

Survivors include: 2 Sons, Terry (Jill) Hughes, Acworth, GA, and Mike Hughes of North Carolina; 2 Granddaughters, Riley and Regan Hughes.
