Beatrice S. Moore

Beatrice Scott Moore, age 87, of Marietta, Georgia passed away October 8, 2017. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Louis Ford, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Georgia. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband James C. Moore.

Mrs. Moore was a native of North Carolina but has lived in the Atanta area since 1974. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Bahama, N.C.. She loved making jewelry and doll cakes. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: two daughters: Cynthia Ford and Sharon Moore; sister: Carol Burton; three brothers: Clarence Scott, Jr., Floyd Scott and Otis Scott, Sr.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
