Barbara Worrall

Barbara F. Worrall, age 95, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow on Tuesday, March 28th at 1:30 pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.



Born in Flushing, New York, Mrs. Worrall lived most of her life in Georgia. She graduated from Washington Seminary in Atlanta. She met her husband at a fraternity party at Georgia Tech and after they married, they finished school at the University of Georgia. She and her husband bought a 250-acre farm in Austell, where they raised their children. She also worked for Lockheed, retiring after 38 years of employment. She was a master gardener, enjoyed painting, and creating arts and crafts. They later sold the farm and bought their dream home in Lost Creek in Kennesaw. She was also a member of Lost Mountain Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Worrall, in 2013.



Survivors include: 3 Children, Stephen (Karen) Worrall, Marietta, GA, Peggy James, Powder Springs, GA, and David (Zori) Worrall, Acworth, GA; 8 Grandchildren, Robert Worrall, Stephanie (Tyler) Zack, Mandi (Joshua) Hunter, Kristina (Brian) Lane, Meredith (Andrew) Sparks, Jason James, Vanessa Worrall, and Brendan Worrall; 6 Great Grandchildren.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara Worrall's memory to the Cobb County Humane Society. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.
