Barbara S. Stephens

Barbara S. Stephens of Marietta passed away onThursday, December 28, 2017. She is survived by her son Larry D. Stephens of Marietta; sister Beverly Green and brother-in-law, Edward Green; nephew Gary Green, his wife, Sandy, and their children, Andy and Olivia, all of Fairfax County, Virginia; as well as one sister-in-law, Connie McCormick of Dallas, Georgia. Though born in Ballground, Georgia, Ms. Stephens had spent almost her entire life in Marietta. She worked for the Cobb County Public School System as a media clerk from 1974-1994, and was also a long-time member of Roswell Street Baptist Church. Ms. Stephens was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Stephens, who passed away in 2002. Visitation will be at West Cobb Funeral Home Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Donations can be made in Memory of Barbara Stephens to Roswell Street Baptist Church, 774 Roswell St. Marietta, GA 30060.
