Barbara Ann Newton

Barbara Ann Newton, age 88, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away August 26, 2023. Private Graveside Service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Thad Newton.

Barbara was a native of Atlanta, Georgia and lived in the Cobb County area most of her life. She was a member of Macland Baptist Church. She retired from Southern Bell.

Survivors include: two sons: Norman Steven (Franscia) Newton of Powder Springs, GA and Michael John (Rhonda) Newton of Powder Springs, GA; five Grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister: Linda Lester of Powder Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
