Barbara Jean Kennedy Slay

Barbara Jean Kennedy Slay, age 81, of Powder Springs, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta with Rev. Randy Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.
Mrs. Slay was a member at Olive Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Kennedy, age 99, of Powder Springs; sons, Eddie Slay of Marietta and Doug Slay and wife, Kelly of Hiram and grandchildren, David Slay, Dana Brannan, Derrick Slay, Joseph Slay and Dillard Slay.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 1, 2014, from 5pm-8pm.
