Barbara Griggs Griswell

Barbara Griggs Griswell, age 92, of Mableton, Georgia passed away August 21, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Barber Cemetery in Mableton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Griswell and son Johnny Griswell.

Mrs. Griswell was a native of Atlanta, Georgia and lived in Mableton, Georgia most of her life. She was a Secretary with the Cobb County School Board for many years. She loved painting, drawing, playing the piano and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: son: Steve and wife Sharon Griswell of Mableton, GA.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
