Barbara Gail Driver

Barbara Gail Cartee Driver, age 75, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away February 8, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00a.m., CST, on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Prattville Memorial Chapel and Memory Gardens 841 Fairview Avenue Prattville, Alabama. 1-800-365-3604, interment will follow at Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery in Prattville, Alabama.

Mrs. Driver was a native of Alabama who spent many years in Beaufort, SC and several other cities in the U.S. before moving to Georgia in 1997. She was the wife of a Marine and a proud mother of two sons, one a Navy Veteran, and one a successful Engineer. She was a homemaker who loved needlepoint, gardening and especially traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Pine Level United Methodist Church in Prattville, AL.

Survivors include: Husband of 54 years, Mr. Joe H. Driver of Powder Springs; two sons: Tim (Shelley) Driver of Beaufort, SC; Mark (Arlene) Driver of Knoxville, TN; two brothers: Wayne (Brenda) Cartee, and Ray Cartee; sister: Faye (Jimmie) Johnson; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, CST, at Prattville Memorial Chapel and Memory Gardens in Prattville, Alabama.
