Barbara Hodgins Anderson

Barbara Hodgins Anderson, age 82, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away January 22, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Anderson and daughter Barbara Hodgins.

Barbara was a native and lifelong resident of Georgia spending the last 60 years in Powder Springs, Georgia. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs. She loved to cook, teaching Sunday School, arts and crafts and spending time with family.

Survivors include: brother: Anthony Hodgins of Cedartown, GA; three nephews: Will Hodgins and wife Amy Lamb; Jeff (Diane) Evans of Jonesboro, GA and Len Hodgins of Yorkville, GA; two nieces: Lisa Hodgins of Rockmart, GA; Becky (Scott) Yarborough of Hiram, GA and several other family members.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Monday, January 29, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara Anderson's memory to Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia at 3988 Powder Springs Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
